From the moment I laid eyes on the Fender CD-60 Dreadnought V3 Acoustic Guitar, I knew it was something special. The glossy black finish is stunning, and the instrument feels solid right out of the box.

The dreadnought body shape offers bold, rich bass tones that are perfect for my preferred genres of country and bluegrass. The solid spruce top with scalloped ‘X’ bracing gives a deep, satisfying sound that I can’t get enough of.

What really sets the Fender CD-60 apart from other guitars in this price range is its balance of quality and affordability. The finish is beautiful, and the low action down the neck makes it highly playable.

Even coming from China, the craftsmanship is evident as there are no jagged or sharp frets. The guitar stays in tune quite well, and the included hard-shell case, albeit not matching the guitar’s quality, provides adequate protection.

After playing this guitar for a while, I can confidently say it’s a great investment for any guitarist, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player. While there were minor issues, such as a sticker on the pick guard and slightly awkward case handle placement, they pale in comparison to the guitar’s overall performance. The Fender CD-60 Dreadnought V3 is definitely worth considering if you’re in the market for a new acoustic guitar.
